A Message from Daniel:

I believe Biblical counseling is not about fixing people, managing behavior, or offering spiritual clichés to complex pain. It is about walking with people in the wilderness of life, where faith is tested, motives are exposed, and God does His deepest work.

Life is not lived in neat categories. Scripture never treats people as problems to be solved, but as image-bearers to be shepherded. Biblical counseling, at its core, is discipleship applied to suffering. It is the slow, honest work of helping people see themselves, their pain, and their patterns in the light of God’s truth, without rushing past grief, doubt, or struggle. I believe the Bible is sufficient, not because it ignores emotional complexity, but because it speaks directly to the heart. Scripture addresses fear, anger, shame, despair, addiction, pride, trauma, grief, and exhaustion, not as abstract concepts, but as lived human realities.

I believe transformation happens through repentance and renewal, not performance and pressure. Change is not produced by guilt or control, but by grace that leads to truth and truth that leads to freedom. The goal is not to create compliant Christians, but mature disciples who can discern God’s voice, take responsibility for their lives, and walk in obedience even when it costs them.

Life, like counseling, is often lived in the wilderness seasons, between promise and fulfillment, between calling and clarity.

Ultimately, Biblical counseling is about hope- not shallow optimism, but anchored hope.

About Daniel...

Daniel served as a lay counselor for six years before joining the Higher Hopes Biblical Counselor Team as a Master Certified Biblical Counselor. Grounded in Biblical discipleship, mentorship, and pastoral care, his ministry focuses on walking alongside individuals through spiritual formation, life transitions, and personal struggles, with a strong emphasis on applying Scripture to everyday challenges.

He brings extensive experience in one-on-one mentorship. His approach to counseling is relational, Scripture-centered, and attentive to both the heart and lived experience.

Daniel is a licensed and ordained pastor who serves in a leadership role within his local church. His work includes teaching, discipleship, counseling support, and spiritual oversight. He also serves as an evangelist, engaging in street outreach and community-based ministry, where he has worked with individuals facing crisis, addiction, trauma, and spiritual disconnection.

He is the founder of Stand for Christ Ministry, an organization dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel, discipling believers, and engaging communities through outreach. Through this work, he has led evangelistic efforts, mentorship initiatives, and discipleship programs aimed at fostering spiritual growth and personal responsibility.

His counseling work is rooted in empirically-focused mentorship and discipleship rather than clinical therapy. He views counseling as a discipleship process that helps individuals grow in discernment, responsibility, and dependence on God as they navigate life’s challenges.
