A Message from John:

While different periods in our lives seem like a struggle or insurmountable, these periods are a gift of opportunity for personal growth. We all have immense potential in who we can be and who we can be to those important in our lives. Change and struggle are always temporary.

John graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2002 with his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After going into the “business world” holding various positions, and some serious “soul searching”, he decided to go back 10 years later to his original path of counseling.

 

After the birth of his daughter, John wanted to be the best he could in affecting the lives of others in a more impactful way. In 2015, John graduated from Amberton University with a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling. Since 2015, John has been a Program Director and counselor in the field of Domestic Violence. John has worked with Men and Women to help them change abusive behaviors in order to lead healthier lives and experience healthy relationships. John has been on various panels, guest lectured to graduate programs, and worked with adolescents in regard to what a healthy, non-abusive, relationship looks like.
