A Message from Rachel…

It is my belief  that all human beings have been blessed with the exact internal resources they need to live healthy, joyful, and fulfilling lives.  Sometimes we find ourselves disconnected from these resources, or perhaps unaware of their existence within us.  It is my goal to help clients connect with those miraculous internal resources, like resiliency, ingenuity, spirituality, and inner-wisdom, so that they can feel empowered to live the life they dream for themselves.  My approach with clients is holistic - looking at mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing.  Individuals and families alike are seen as a whole, made up of invaluable parts, experiences, and perspectives that are meant to be acknowledged, appreciated and respected.  I look forward to partnering with you, your children, your families on your wellness journey.

A Note to Parents…

Parenting is one of the toughest gigs out there.  We often say “parenting doesn’t come with a manual” but, if you just take a look at the parenting section of any bookstore, you’ll see we have an overabundance of “manuals”!  I’m here to help you skip the overwhelming search for answers and find practical, developmentally appropriate solutions that work for your unique family and its values.  With over 15 years of experience working with children and adolescents of all ages and from all walks of life, I have cultivated an extensive toolkit for consciously stewarding children and teens from a place of love, respect, and peaceful leadership.  When working with parents and families, I take a holistic, strengths-based approach that is free of shame and judgment.  You are already doing so many things RIGHT (even if it doesn’t always feel like it) and together we will build on those strengths to  bring more peace, confidence, and JOY to your parenting journey.

Progress over perfection!

About Rachel…

Rachel has been an educator for 15+ years in a wide variety of settings, most recently as the owner and director of a small private school.  As an educator, Rachel found satisfaction and purpose in partnering with families to help bring more joy, peace and self-esteem to each family member through compassionate, strengths-based psycho-education. She is currently completing her LPC education at Southern New Hampshire University’s Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) program and is excited to realize her long standing dream of using therapy as a catalyst for healing.  She loves getting out in nature with her two boys - whether it’s to go camping, fishing, hiking or catching critters.  In her free time she enjoys drawing, painting, dancing, live music and tending to her collection of plants.
