Men's Group & Therapy Workshops
If you're seeking a transformative journey to become the best version of yourself, this might be the opportunity you've been waiting for. We're excited to announce the launch of a men’s-only group, created specifically for those who are ready to take bold steps toward personal growth and development.
This group is founded on the belief that every man has the potential to discover his true purpose and pursue it with determination. It’s about building a supportive community of like-minded men who understand the struggles, doubts, and challenges we all face.
Together, we’ll explore what it means to truly understand ourselves. By joining forces, we can learn from one another and push forward on our shared journey. This group is about breaking down the barriers we place on ourselves and finding the motivation to move forward.
Meetings will be held virtually every other Wednesday (2nd & 4th weeks) from 6-7:30p, providing a space where we will confront fears, challenge each other, embrace new growth, reflect on our relationships, and work toward meaningful goals. This group offers a unique opportunity to engage in deep, impactful work outside of the typical counseling session.
If you or someone you know is interested in joining this empowering community, we invite you to be part of this exciting new chapter. Together, let’s embark on a journey toward becoming the men we aspire to be.
MANifest Founder:
John Sharp, LPC
Meet Your Group Leader:
John’s experience in the
counseling field began in
2014 when, after many
years in the business
world, he underwent a
period of introspection
and decided to realign
his career with his core
value of helping others.
In 2014, he embarked on a Master’s Practicum with New Beginning Center in Garland as a Counseling Intern. His dedication was quickly recognized, and he was offered the position of BIPP Program Manager even before he graduated.
For five years, John committed himself to working with men in this role, leading a team of nine facilitators who conducted 20-25 groups weekly at the BIPP Office and various Parole and Probation offices. He became a sought-after speaker for panels, radio shows, and workshops. In his work, John shifted his focus towards an empowerment perspective, incorporating concepts like Emotional Intelligence, Client-Centered approaches, and Emotional and Acceptance theories. This approach helped make the program one of the largest funded in Texas.
John later transitioned to working with individuals and couples in a private practice setting. He also serves as the Director of Guidance at a private high school, where he leads a team of nine.
John has always remained steadfast in his commitment to empowering men, helping them realize their unlimited potential to achieve their goals in relationships and life.
