Message from Chelsea:

When your heart and your mind feel heavy, I'll be here to help carry the weight. Throughout our counseling relationship, I'll be here to offer a listening ear, open mind, insight, and endless empathy. We will work together to help you move forward with a better outlook and a hopeful future.

My name is Chelsea Holcomb. I am a small town Texas girl, born and raised within 30 minutes of Royse City. I come from a big, loud, lovable, and slightly dysfunctional family that I left for college in Kentucky. I didn’t get my degree there- just my handsome husband. I brought him back here 10 years ago and he has almost adjusted to the heat. I finished my Degrees at Texas Woman’s University with a joint Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. Along the way, I had a beautiful little girl whom I love with every fiber of my being.

My story is complex and a little crazy, but I can say that while I may be young, I’ve lived and experienced a lot. This is one of the reasons I relate well to my clients. I have a special place in my heart for kids, probably because I refuse to grow up, but also because I spent the last 8 years working in schools. I’ve taught and counseled every age from kindergarten to seniors graduating and making their place in the world. I also enjoy talking with adults who are trying to do the same.

I’m blessed to know that my purpose is to guide you in yours. What I offer is a non judgmental listening ear, some positive helpful guidance, and lots of patience and kindness. While I can’t take your struggles away, I can promise that I will walk through them with you every step of the way.
